It’s important to take good care of your kidneys. Your kidneys clean out your blood and get extra water and waste out of your body by making urine. There are many things that can hurt your kidneys. We recommend you take our Kidney Smart class:
- if you have diabetes or pre-diabetes.
- if you have high blood pressure.
- if you have high cholesterol.
- if you have kidney disease.
- if you take a lot of medicines.
These things put your kidneys at risk.
In class you’ll learn:
- How your kidneys work
- What causes kidney disease
- How your diet, medicine and habits affect your kidneys
- What treatments there are for kidney disease

In this class, you'll get:
- A fruit infusion water bottle
This class is offered:
- In English or Spanish
- In the morning, afternoon, or at night
- At no cost for you. This means you don’t have to pay.
