Kidney Smart class

Please refer your patients to our Kidney Smart class:
- if they have diabetes or pre-diabetes.
- if they have high blood pressure.
- if they have high cholesterol.
- if they have kidney disease.
- if they take a lot of medicines.
In class they’ll learn:
- How their kidneys work
- What causes kidney disease
- How their diet, medicine and habits affect their kidneys
- What treatments there are for kidney disease
Your patients can also learn more ways to take care of their kidneys on the DaVita website.
In this class, we give out:
- A fruit infusion water bottle
This class is offered:
- In English or Spanish
- In the morning, afternoon, or at night
- At no cost for your patients. This means they don’t have to pay.
