Kidney Smart class

Please refer your patients to our Kidney Smart class:

• if they have diabetes or pre-diabetes.
• if they have high blood pressure.
• if they have high cholesterol.
• if they have kidney disease.
• if they take a lot of medicines.

In class they’ll learn:

• How their kidneys work
• What causes kidney disease
• How their diet, medicine and habits affect their kidneys
• What treatments there are for kidney disease

In this class, we give out:

• A fruit infusion water bottle

This class is offered:

• In English or Spanish
• In the morning, afternoon, or at night
• At no cost for your patients. This means they don’t have to pay.
