About The Culinary Health Fund
Weʼre the Culinary Health Fund. We provide medical, dental, pharmacy and eye care benefits and services to over 50,000 participants and their 60,000 dependents in the hospitality, culinary, bartending, and music industries in Las Vegas. Our goal is for our participants to get the best possible care that is affordable for them. We also operate the Culinary Health Centers and pharmacies in Las Vegas.
The Culinary Health Fund is a multi-employer Taft-Hartley Fund. We were established in 1981. We’re funded by collective bargaining agreements that are negotiated by unions and funded by employers. This means we work with unions and employers to give our participants great benefits. A board of trustees governs us. This makes sure both employers and workers have a voice in all of the Fund’s choices.
Mission
Our mission is to provide health benefits that offer high-quality, affordable healthcare to our participants at better value with better service than is otherwise available in the market. We believe our success depends on innovation and on engaging our participants.
Culture Statement
We are proud to serve members who speak over 40 languages and represent over 178 countries worldwide. To support this vibrant community, we’re building a workplace rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for different experiences and ideas. We know that when people bring their unique ways of thinking, working, and living to the table, it strengthens our team and helps us better serve the needs of our members—today and into the future.
Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential. We support a workplace where people feel a sense of belonging and purpose, and where learning from one another helps us do our best work.
Whether you're helping a member navigate care or collaborating with colleagues across departments, you’ll find a culture that values open-mindedness, shared growth, and meaningful connection.
